Established in 2014, Berachah Services, LLC has supported organizations to maintain compliance and support services for persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the Home and Community-based Waiver. We have been known for our standard of excellence and unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. It’s this standard of excellence that has provided the impetus for us to grow into the business we are today. Berachah has expanded its professional consultant services to provide In-home support, Companion, and Respite Services through the Home and Community-based Waiver.

Our services are person-centered and focused on the person's interests and preferences. We make the person's desires and aspirations a priority in providing quality service delivery.
COMPANION SERVICES
Companion Services provide non-medical assistance and supervision to support a person’s goals, desires, and needs as identified in the person’s Individual Support Plan (ISP), and reflected in his or her Person-Centered Thinking and Discovery tools. A goal may be related to the person’s safety, promotion of independence, community integration, and/or retirement. Companion Services are flexible and include proposed leisure and recreational activities at home and in the community, based on the person’s preferences. Companion Services may be provided in the person’s home or in the community.
RESPITE SERVICES
RESPITE SERVICES PROVIDE RELIEF TO THE FAMILY OR PRIMARY CAREGIVER TO MEET PLANNED OR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. RESPITE CARE GIVES THE CAREGIVER A PERIOD OF RELIEF FOR SCHEDULED TIME AWAY FROM THE PERSON, INCLUDING VACATIONS. RESPITE CARE WILL ENSURE THAT PERSONS SERVED THROUGH THE WAIVER HAVE ACCESS TO COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES AS OUTLINE IN THE PERSON ISP. RESPITE SERVICES ARE ONLY PROVIDED TO PERSONS SERVED THROUGH HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED WAIVER SERVICES (HCBWS) WHO LIVE IN THEIR OWN HOME, OR THEIR FAMILY HOME. RESPITE SERVICES ENSURE THAT PERSONS SERVED THROUGH THE WAIVER HAVE ACCESS TO COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES AS STIPULATED IN THE PERSON’S ISP. COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THESE ACTIVITIES, WHICH INCLUDE SCHOOL ATTENDANCE, SCHOOL ACTIVITIES, OR OTHER ACTIVITIES THE PERSON WOULD PARTICIPATE IN, IF THEY WERE NOT IN RESPITE.

We Put Your Needs First
In-Home Supports focus on a person’s specified goals related to acquiring, retaining, and improving independence, autonomy, and adaptive skills. Services are provided to a person living independently or with family or friends. Our services offer skill-building activities, including opportunities for community exploration, inclusion, and integration, based upon the person’s current, emerging, and newly discovered interests and preferences. In-Home Supports may include training in activities of daily living, socialization, community exploration, supporting relationship building and building community memberships. Service includes a combination of hands-on care, habilitative support, skill development and assistance with activities of daily living.
